Privacy Policy

This policy describes the limited information handled by Eagle Pass Residents Directory and the choices available to visitors. The service is a private reference to public-records routes in Eagle Pass, Texas. It does not require an account or keep a personal search profile.

Information Sent Directly

A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is submitted to the outside provider that supplies the results. Eagle Pass Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.

Automatic Technical Data

Our host may create normal server logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to operate and secure the service. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.

How Information Is Used

Technical information helps us maintain the service, diagnose errors, and understand general use. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles from ordinary server activity.

External Services

Links lead to county, city, state, library, archive, and third-party search services. Their own policies govern information submitted after leaving this service. That includes any sponsored search result, which is provided by a separate company.

Service Providers and Disclosure

Hosting, analytics, and related service providers may process the limited automatic data described here to support the service. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share personal information for an unrelated purpose.

Security Practices

The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps technical logs only for as long as operating, security, and legal needs require. Because there are no user accounts, Eagle Pass Residents Directory does not maintain visitor passwords or account profiles.

Visitors Under 18

This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent personal information, and we will remove it where appropriate.

Texas Privacy Rights

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, effective July 1, 2024, gives covered Texas consumers rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of personal data. Covered businesses generally respond to authenticated requests within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension. Because Eagle Pass Residents Directory keeps very little visitor data, a request normally concerns a contact message or technical log. Use the Contact page to ask. The Act does not put a county, city, or state public record under our control, and a request concerning one belongs with its custodian.

Policy Updates

A revised privacy policy will appear here. Continued use after publication of a revision means the updated policy applies.
